An assassination attempt is made on Japan's prime minister, Kantarō Suzuki.

Baron Kantar Suzuki ( , 18 January 1868 17 April 1948) was a Japanese general and politician. He was an admiral in the Imperial Japanese Navy, member and final leader of the Imperial Rule Assistance Association and Prime Minister of Japan from 7 April to 17 August 1945.

Assassination is the murder of a prominent or important person, such as a head of state, head of government, politician, member of a royal family, or CEO.
