Todd Gurley, American football player

Todd Jerome Gurley II (born August 3, 1994) is an American football running back who is a free agent. He played college football at Georgia, where he earned All-SEC honors in 2012 and 2013. Gurley was drafted by the St. Louis Rams of the National Football League with the tenth overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft. Despite missing the first three weeks of the 2015 NFL season due to a torn ACL suffered during his final year at Georgia, Gurley rushed for 1,106 yards in his rookie season and was voted AP NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year. He was also named AP NFL Offensive Player of the Year following the 2017 season after scoring 19 offensive touchdowns.

While he was named a three time All-Pro with the Rams, Gurley was affected by leg injuries during his team's run to Super Bowl LIII. His workload and production decreased and he was released after the 2019 season, just two years after signing a US$60 million extension. He then played for the Atlanta Falcons in 2020.
