Masashi Tashiro, Japanese singer, actor, and director

Masashi Tashiro (田代まさし, Tashiro Masashi, real name pronounced the same, but written as 田代政) (born August 31, 1956) is a former Japanese television performer and the founding member of the band Rats & Star. Tashiro was a tenor vocalist for Rats & Star, and later on made himself a name as a TV entertainer in Japan. He also directed a movie after his band broke up.

His arrest for filming up women’s skirts in September 2000 marked the beginning of Tashiro's problems with the law.
