2015 Cairo restaurant fire (December 4, 2015)

A firebomb is thrown into a restaurant in the Egyptian capital of Cairo, killing 17 people.

On December 4, 2015, a molotov cocktail was thrown into the El Sayad restaurant in Cairo, Egypt. The resultant fire killed 17 people, and wounded six. The restaurant was also a nightclub and was located in the Agouza district of the city.The restaurant was located in a basement and had no fire exits.
