Kim Jong-pil, South Korean lieutenant and politician, 11th Prime Minister of South Korea
Kim Jong-pil (Korean pronunciation: [kimdʑoŋpʰil]; January 7, 1926 – June 23, 2018), also known as JP, was a South Korean politician and the founder of the Korean Central Intelligence Agency (KCIA, now the National Intelligence Service). He served as prime minister twice, from 1971 to 1975 during the presidency of Park Chung-hee (1961–1979) and from 1998 to 2000 during the presidency of Kim Dae-jung (1998–2002).
