Ibrahim II of Ifriqiya, Aghlabid emir (d. 902)
Abu Ishaq Ibrahim II ibn Ahmad (Arabic: أبو اسحاق ابراهيم الثاني) (27 June 850 – 23 October 902) was the Emir of Ifriqiya. He ruled from 875 until his abdication in 902.
Despite his fierce reputation as an oppressor, he was quite successful as a ruler, economically and militarily. Due to his alleged cruelty, though, he faced a downfall at the hands of the Abbasid Caliph, dying in Europe during an ill fated and poorly planned campaign.
