Alexander Semin, Russian ice hockey player

Alexander Valeryevich Semin (Russian: Александр Валерьевич Сёмин, Russian pronunciation: [ɐlʲɪˈksandr sʲɵˈmʲin]; born 3 March 1984) is a Russian professional ice hockey winger who is currently an unrestricted free agent. He most recently played with HC Vityaz of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL), the highest league in Russia. He has previously played in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the Washington Capitals, Carolina Hurricanes and Montreal Canadiens.
