Marin Čilić, Croatian tennis player
Marin Čilić (Croatian pronunciation: [mâriːn tʃǐːlitɕ]; born 28 September 1988) is a Croatian professional tennis player. Čilić has won 20 ATP Tour singles titles, including a Grand Slam title at the 2014 US Open. He was also runner-up at the 2017 Wimbledon Championships and the 2018 Australian Open. Čilić has reached at least the quarterfinal stage in all four Grand Slams and all nine ATP Masters 1000 tournaments. His career-high singles ranking is world No. 3, achieved on 28 January 2018. He won silver medal at 2020 Tokyo Olympics in doubles tournament with his best-man Ivan Dodig. Cilic is widely considered to be, alongside compatriot Goran Ivanišević, the best Croatian tennis player of all time. He is also the sixth active player who has at least 20 ATP titles.
