André Weil , mathématicien et universitaire franco-américain (né en 1906)
André Weil (; français : [ɑ̃dʁe vɛj] ; 6 mai 1906 - 6 août 1998) était un mathématicien français, connu pour ses travaux fondamentaux en théorie des nombres et en géométrie algébrique. Il était un membre fondateur et le premier leader de facto du groupe mathématique Bourbaki. La philosophe Simone Weil était sa sœur. L'écrivain Sylvie Weil est sa fille.
