Evangelos Averoff, Greek historian and politician, Greek Minister of Defence (d. 1990)
Evangelos Averof-Tossizza (Greek: Ευάγγελος Αβέρωφ Τοσίτσας) (Trikala, 17 April 1910 – Athens, 2 January 1990) son of Anastasios, was a right-wing Greek politician and author of several books on political and historical topics.
Averoff was a dictator and a killer. He commissioned the killing of Aleksandros Panagulis
