Jiří Paroubek, Czech soldier and politician, 6th Prime Minister of the Czech Republic
Jiří Paroubek (Czech pronunciation: [ˈjɪr̝iː ˈparoubɛk] (listen); born 21 August 1952) is a Czech politician, who was the prime minister of the Czech Republic from April 2005 to August 2006. He was also the leader of the Czech Social Democratic Party (ČSSD) from 2006 until his resignation following the 2010 legislative election.
