Craig Whittaker, English businessman and politician
Craig Whittaker (born 30 August 1962) is a British Conservative Party politician. He was first elected as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Calder Valley in 2010. Whittaker retained the seat in the 2015, 2017, and 2019 United Kingdom general elections.Whittaker has served as the Parliamentary Private Secretary (PPS) to Karen Bradley, the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport. Whittaker currently serves as HM Lord Commissioner to The Treasury in the Government Whips Office and was appointed in the re-shuffle of January 2018. Prior to this role, he served as an Assistant Whip. He was appointed to that role in June 2017 after the General Election.
