Calie Pistorius, South African engineer and academic
Carl Wilhelm Irene ("Calie") Pistorius (born 9 August 1958) is a South African academic who is a former Vice-Chancellor of the University of Hull, Kingston upon Hull, United Kingdom. He announced, on 1 August 2016, that he would be stepping down from this role at the end of January 2017. His successor at Hull is Professor Susan Lea.
