Jay Bell, American baseball player and coach
Jay Stuart Bell (born December 11, 1965) is an American former Major League Baseball shortstop who is currently the manager of the Rocket City Trash Pandas of Double-A South. He played for the Cleveland Indians (1986–88), Pittsburgh Pirates (1989–96), Kansas City Royals (1997), Arizona Diamondbacks (1998–2002) and New York Mets (2003). He was the bench coach for the Cincinnati Reds, and was the bench coach for the New Zealand national baseball team that competed in the 2013 World Baseball Classic.
