Haywood Jeffires, American football player and coach
Haywood Franklin Jeffires (pronounced "Jeffries"; born December 12, 1964) is a former professional American football player who was selected by the Houston Oilers in the 1st round (20th overall) of the 1987 NFL Draft out of North Carolina State. A 6'2", 198 lb (90 kg). wide receiver, Jeffires played in 10 NFL seasons from 1987 to 1996.
