Stan Bowles, English footballer and sportscaster
Stanley Bowles (born 24 December 1948 in Collyhurst, Manchester, Lancashire) is an English former professional footballer who as a player in the 1970s was known for his skills as a forward, and also gained a reputation as one of the game's great non-conformists and mavericks.
