Joanna Southcott, English religious leader (b. 1750)
Joanna Southcott (or Southcote; April 1750 – 27 December 1814) was a self-described religious prophetess from Devon, England. A "Southcottian" movement continued in various forms after her death. The eighth prophet was Mabel Barltrop, who died in the 1930s.
