Craig Raine, English poet, author, and playwright
Craig Anthony Raine, FRSL (born 3 December 1944) is an English contemporary poet. Along with Christopher Reid, he is a notable pioneer of Martian poetry, a movement that expresses alienation with the world, society and objects. He was a fellow of New College, Oxford from 1991 to 2010 and is now emeritus professor. He has been the editor of Areté since 1999.
