Anne Begg, Scottish educator and politician
Dame Margaret Anne Begg DBE (born 6 December 1955) is a British Labour Party politician who served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Aberdeen South between 1997 and 2015.
She chaired the Work and Pensions Select Committee between 2010 and 2015, and was the first permanent wheelchair user in the House of Commons since Arthur MacMurrough Kavanagh in 1880.
