Ödön von Horváth, Hungarian-German author and playwright (d. 1938)
Edmund Josef von Horváth (9 December 1901, Sušak, Rijeka, Austria-Hungary – 1 June 1938, Paris France) was an Austro-Hungarian playwright and novelist who wrote in German, and went by the name of nom de guerre Ödön von Horváth.
