Julian Ursyn Niemcewicz, Belarusian-Polish poet, playwright, and politician (d. 1841)
Julian Ursyn Niemcewicz (US: nyemt-SAY-vitch, Polish: [ˈjuljan ˈursɨn ɲɛmˈtsɛvitʂ]; 6 February 1758 – 21 May 1841) was a Polish poet, playwright and statesman. He was a leading advocate for the Constitution of 3 May 1791.
