Robert Drinan

Robert Drinan, American priest, lawyer, and politician (b. 1920)
Robert Frederick Drinan (November 15, 1920 – January 28, 2007) was a Jesuit priest, lawyer, human rights activist, and Democratic U.S. Representative from Massachusetts. Drinan left office to comply with Pope John Paul II's request for all priests to remain neutral from politics.

He was also a law professor at Georgetown University Law Center for the last twenty-six years of his life.
