Johann Christoph Pepusch, German-English composer and theorist (b. 1667)
Johann Christoph Pepusch (born Berlin, 1667, died London, 20 July 1752, also known as John Christopher Pepusch and Dr Pepusch, was a German-born composer who spent most of his working life in England. He was born son of a vicar, and was married to Margherita de l'Epine who also performed in some of his theatrical productions.
