Pope Clement X (b. 1590)
Pope Clement X (Latin: Clemens X; Italian: Clemente X; 13 July 1590 – 22 July 1676), born Emilio Bonaventura Altieri, was head of the Catholic Church and ruler of the Papal States from 29 April 1670 to his death in 1676. Elected pope at age 79, he has since been ranked as the oldest pope at the time of his election.
