Colonel Pavel Ivanovich Pestel (Russian: Павел Иванович Пестель; 5 July [O.S. 24 June] 1793 in Moscow – 25 July [O.S. 13 July] 1826 in Saint Petersburg) was a Russian revolutionary and ideologue of the Decembrists.
