Diego Hypólito, Brazilian gymnast
Diego Matias Hypólito (Brazilian Portuguese: [d͡ʒi.ˈeɡu iˈpɔlitu]; born June 19, 1986) is a Brazilian gymnast and the 2005 and 2007 World Champion on the floor exercise. He is the first male gymnast from Brazil, and South America, to win a medal at the World Championships. He also won 63 medals in World Cup. Hypólito has represented Brazil in three Olympics: 2008, 2012 and 2016. He received the silver medal in Floor at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio. He is also the younger brother of Daniele Hypólito, the first Brazilian gymnast ever to medal at Worlds.
