Christian Goldbach, Prussian-German mathematician and academic (d. 1764)
Christian Goldbach (; German: [ˈɡɔltbax]; 18 March 1690 – 20 November 1764) was a German mathematician who also studied law. He is remembered today for Goldbach's conjecture.
