Tamim Iqbal, Bangladeshi Cricketer
Tamim Iqbal Khan (Bengali: তামিম ইকবাল খান; born 20 March 1989), more popularly known as Tamim Iqbal, is a Bangladeshi international cricketer. He is currently the captain of the Bangladesh national team in One Day Internationals.Tamim made his ODI debut in 2007 and played his first Test match the following year. He served as vice-captain of the national side between December 2010 and September 2011. In March 2021, Tamim became the first Bangladeshi player to score 50 ODI half-centuries. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest Bangladeshi batsmen for scoring the highest amount of runs in ODI cricket .
