Thelma Houston, American R&B/disco singer and actress
Thelma Houston (née Jackson; born 1943 or 1946; sources differ) is an American singer. Beginning her recording career in the late-1960s, Houston scored a number-one hit record in 1977 with her recording of "Don't Leave Me This Way", which won the Grammy for Best Female R&B Vocal Performance.
