Yutaka Taniyama, Japanese mathematician and theorist (d. 1958)
Yutaka Taniyama (谷山 豊, Taniyama Yutaka, 12 November 1927 – 17 November 1958) was a Japanese mathematician known for the Taniyama–Shimura conjecture.
