Dorothea Erxleben, German first female medical doctor (d. 1762)
Dorothea Christiane Erxleben (née Leporin; 13 November 1715 – 13 June 1762) was a German doctor who was the first female medical doctor in Germany, and the first woman licensed by a regulating medical body to practice medicine in the world.
