Sergei Dovlatov, Russian-American journalist and author (d. 1990)
Sergei Donatovich Dovlatov-Mechik (Russian: Сергей Донатович Довлатов-Мечик; 3 September 1941 – 24 August 1990) was a Soviet journalist and writer. Internationally, he is one of the most popular Russian writers of the late 20th century.
