Wilbert Awdry, autor inglês, co-criou Thomas the Tank Engine (m. 1997)

Wilbert Vere Awdry (15 de junho de 1911 - 21 de março de 1997) foi um ministro anglicano inglês, entusiasta ferroviário e autor infantil. Ele era mais conhecido por criar Thomas the Tank Engine. Thomas e vários outros personagens que ele criou apareceram em sua série Ferroviária.
